Missouri River Relief started from people who loved the Missouri River and wanted to spread river love in the community. That’s still our mission today, to connect people to the Missouri River through river cleanups, education programs and recreation.

They host river cleanups from St. Louis to Omaha, NE; education programs bringing thousands of students to the river each year and paddling races like the MR340 from Kansas City to St. Charles.

Steve Schnarr is the Director of MRR. He’ll be sharing some stories of the work that Missouri River Relief does to foster community, knowledge and restoration of the Big Muddy across the state of Missouri.
