Original presentation, March 16, 2015, Westport Coffeehouse Theater – 4010 Pennsylvania Ave. Kansas City, MO

Imagine being afraid to drink your water, take a bath, fish or farm.  These are the fears facing communities near coal ash pits in Missouri and throughout the country.  Coal Ash Stories was an event featuring four short films focused on coal ash, public health concerns, related policy, and ways that communities are responding.

This film was presented by Labadie Environmental Organization, who has been fighting permitting of a new coal ash landfill in the Missouri River floodplain upstream of St. Louis.
