Published: September 11, 2013

Presented by Hydrogeologists David Stous and Pat Higgens, Burns & McDonnell Co.

Wednesday, September 11, 2013

In July we learned about the Missouri River as a direct source of drinking water. This month, David Stous and Pat Higgens will take a peek below the river, at the mysterious and very large quantity of water contained that flows through the sediments of the Missouri River flood plain. And they’ll look at some the technology used to access this valuable water resource.

David Stous, P.G., P.E. has made a career of exploring the alluvial aquifer of the Missouri River valley for Burns & McDonnell.
